Hmm forgot about this bad boy...

So I'm no longer a thirtysomething... I'm forty which wasn't nearly as painful as I originally thought. I've been doing more than just driving for GO lately and for the most part I have enjoyed it. There are some aspects to the other jobs that I haven't enjoyed but I persevered though them just the same. I think I have gained the respect of some management as well as co workers. More importantly I have gained the respect of myself. I have found that I have the abilities to succeed in the endeavours I choose to undertake, I have the ability to choose my path and to take the harder more difficult path to achieve my own self-idendity.

It's a liberating feeling....

So Christmas has come and gone, New Years too. I ended having to work some crazy hours to be able to have Christmas day off, I worked until 2:30 Christmas eve so I could be home with the boys Christmas day... totally worth it. New Years was good but I still had to work until 10:30 so I only got an hour of my drink on.

Yay for a new board period! Monday to Friday and mostly day work. I still get some sucky times but the weekends off with the boys makes it worth it.

I don't have much to bitch or whine about and I don't have much to rant about... I am just.... well... just I guess. Which in itself can be a good thing, I am just content and happy which is a pretty good feeling but makes for lousy blog fodder....

So suck it
