So some of you might know my birthday is rolling in very soon. Well it happened that I needed to renew my license this year. I have an upgraded license so I needed to do a written test as well. So I try to remember what happened 5 years ago when I renewed it then and I remembered I had to go back and forth a few times as I started at the licensing office first and not the testing centre (yes a stupid setup thank you provincial government). So anyway I am going to let everyone know of my horrid experience of being at the testing centre. Well for started I hate lines and I'm not fond of crowds. I figured an hour and a half should be plenty of time to get in and get out. Man, was I wrong.... So I get in there and I have to line up to find out where I need to be. Well I get my info and they give me a ticket to wait with and to go take a seat. I find the only seat that has an empty seat on each side yay me! Well that was all well and good for about 30 seconds. I ended up having some girl from India sit down beside me an reread her driving manual for what looked liked to be the 343rd time and then begin to hum the entire time she was reading. She broke out a bag of chips and continued to read and hum all the while chewing her chips. Oh my lord I thought I was going to thrash within an inch of her life. Very irritating to say the least. So I wait and I wait and when I was done waiting I waited some more I waited for over an hour then I finally get my call to come to a wicket for all of a 10 minute process, then off to the testing area to get my test which took a whopping 2 minutes to do followed by 15 minutes of waiting for the mental midgets to mark it. Two hours I lost of my life waiting to get my license renewed and I still didn't have it renewed I still had to go to a licensing office to get my license renewed. This is a completely bent process we have to go through as drivers. So in any event I got to be late for work because I didn't allow enough time for the inadequate employees of Drive Test to lounge about and do nothing.
